Introduction
Seth JaiPrakash Mukandlal Polytechnic for women was established in the loving sacred memory of Late Seth Jaiprakash Ji by his wife Sethani Swaraj Devi and their illustrious sons late Seth Swatantra Kumar, Seth Ashok Kumar and Shri Vijay Kumar in 1975 also International Women's Year. This was the second Polytechnic for women in Uttar Pradesh at the time of its inception. This Institute runs under Registered Society "VIDYA KENDRA" which is registered under Registrar of Societies U.P., with registration No. 30/1954-55 under whom more than 27 Institutions are being run. This institution is located in the academic campus exclusively for women in Dayanand Nagar, Model Town, Ghaziabad. This Institute is well equipped for providing both theoretical and practical training with adequate class rooms, laboratories, library and sports ground for out door activities. It is a modern progressive Institution for providing job-oriented training for women with a scientific outlook on life, dedicated to the high ideals of late Seth Jaiprakash Ji.
This Polytechnic is not merely a "Teaching Institute but a 'learning' Centre. Its syllabus is a diversified programme of 'training and doing'. It is in line with the new education plan of Govt. Of India, which aims at de-linking degrees form jobs. Polytechnic education has already given up memory-based examinations. It lays stress on SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) and inculcates the scientific temper required for the twenty first century with all its vision of network of TV/Radio and Space-Satellites. Our courses, as laid down by the Board of Technical Education of U.P. Government, are aimed at making women as essential part of self-generating economy as well as respectable member of modern happy home life.

Technical education for women is the need of the hour. More and more women are going in for technical education and becoming career oriented. Seth Jaiprakash Mukandlal Polytechnic has been playing a leading role in this field. We are moving forward in the path of progress. We don't believe in rest. We purpose to meet the challenge of new world, which is preparing itself to take a leap in to success. Our aim is to provide best quality of vocational and technical education to women in the order to make them.
Contributory and useful to our national progress as well as to develop their case. Our mission is to promote excellence in education and prepare student to be perfect supervisors who shape the future. So we hope and pray that this institution will continue to serve the cause of the women technical and vocational education with greater glossy and greater achievements

It gives us immense happiness to help students discover their aim in life. Their success is our success. We give due importance to various skills and therefore we provide not only academic guidance to our students but also a variety of extra-curricular activities. We are looking forward to developing in each of our faculty, staff and student's ability and passion to work wisely, creatively, effectively for the betterment of mankind.
